Reporting on the Pirates Watch in Myrtle Beach
Argh, I just got a hole in one! That’s the theme of the Pirates Watch in Myrtle Beach, an attraction that combines a pirate exhibit with a mini-golf course. This South Carolina attraction offers golfers and mini-golfers an 18-hole course and many decorations and furnishings straight out of a pirate movie. On this golfing adventure you can expect to see exhibits set up for legendary pirates like Captain Kidd, Red Legs Greaves, Blackbeard, Calico Jack and Anne Bonney. Children will really enjoy exhibits of pirate ships, ship wheels and other décor that recalls the antiquated and sea-soaked environment of the pirate lifestyle.
Even adults will be entertained at the theatrics of the park, and rest assured everyone will find the mini golf course challenging. In addition to golfing and theatrics, you can also take fun pirate photos (you can scream in the stocks) and feed the ducks and fish around the lake areas. The park is closed in winter season but open all other months of the year and lets golfers play to their heart’s content after one ticket purchase. This is just one more reason why Myrtle Beach is the “Golfing Capital of the World.”
